2015:
Launched the first digital lending platform in Nigeria, leveraging the Bank Verification Number.
2017:
Became the first African lender admitted into Y Combinator and raised a pre-seed round.
2019:
Achieved profitability, marking a significant milestone in financial sustainability.
2020:
Reached 1 million registered users and initiated a 5 billion Naira Triple B-rated local bond program.
2021:
Partnered with Gluwa and integrated into the Credal Network for blockchain credit scoring.
2022:
Surpassed 2 million users and piloted a 'Debt-as-a-Service' platform for agency lenders, disbursing over $70 million in its first year.
2023:
Completed the acquisition of Flourish Microfinance Bank, expanding its reach and services.
2024:
Launched Aella Microfinance Bank, a digital bank for Africa focusing on ushering in a new credit age powered by digital asset verification for banking, lending, and payments.
